Aquapazza

Restaurant

“Set at the water’s edge, our chic open-air restaurant serves Chef Sergio Favata’s Italian specialties, from stone-baked pizza and fresh pasta to locally caught seafood, expertly paired with our sommelier’s curated wine list.”

Standing on wooden stilts, it is a stylish restaurant serving contemporary Italian cuisine, with a focus on seafood. Originating in Naples, the name Acquapazza means crazy water and refers to the bubbling of boiling water when cooking.

Illuminated sculptures and torches along the pathway guide guests to the restaurant. Enter into split level restaurant with steps leading down to bar and lower deck. Unusual water features, candlelit tables with teak and red armchairs, wood deck with lanterns hanging from wood posts on lower tier. Upper tier has stone walls and plush red décor with view into open kitchen.

Contemporary Italian serving classic and regional dishes with an emphasis on seafood. Specialities include pizza Piemontese with black truffle, linguine ai ricci di mare with local sea urchin and a tomato-less Vincis grassi lasagna, taken from a 15th century recipe. However, we recommend you also try beef carpaccio, caprese salad or the local selection of crudo seafood for starters followed by risotto with seafood and lobster bisque, oven roasted dorado or seared paprika marinated tuna for fish lovers. For carnivores, there isn’t a great deal of choice but we suggest you try beef tenderloin or roasted chicken Italian style. Children and the less adventurous will enjoy pizzas cooked to order in the wood fire pizza oven.

Bar on the waters edge as you enter restaurant is a relaxed venue for pre or post dinner cocktails. Menu also served at bar should you wish to eat there. Mixologists on hand to mix a vast array of cocktails or simply to serve you a cool beer or glass of wine.
